busy December!!

Really making a point this season to not get stressed over holiday shuffle and take in each moment.  I've been working at night, nap times and school times, to ensure that I can celebrate each moment with my little Animals, and it's been super rewarding!

I don't know about you, but it's easy for me to get overwhelmed and spiral out of control.  Admittedly, I have had to reign my self back in throughout each week from time to time, I take a deep breath in and remember why I love What I do, Who I'm able to do this for and Why I do it, and take a step back in and enjoy the moment!  You can never get this time back, and I'm not going to be a 31 year old pregnant mommy of just three
vivacious little ones forever ...

How are you living in the moment this season?  Send on a comment and I'll let my little bird crew randomly select a comment for an Octo Tote!

Cheers to you this Holiday Season and all that you are, and all that you do,
for all that you love :)

Last night while doing late night shopping after work, the stress started to set in. While at Barnes and Noble, my little one looked up at me and said, "We're going to make people happy with these presents, right mommy?" It's funny how standing in line at Barnes and Noble with my three year old helped me realize how blessed I am and how everyone of these experiences might be etched in her mind forever. With that being said, I want her to remember happy mommy, and not "stressed over Christmas" mommy. [Stressed over Christmas mommy can be my little secret.;)]

After the crazy day at the preschool Christmas program, we jumped in the car last night in PJs and barefeet to check out all the lights in the neighborhood. Those little squeals of delight and joy make even the toughest day with two year old twins worth it!

I enjoyed your post! It is so easy to get overwhelmed if you let yourself go there. It is all in the way you manage the many sets of moments each day. Taking time to be together, finding quiet time, sqeezing in short bedtime story or a moment to cuddle in the glow of the Christams trees is the way we are trying to slow down and savor the holiday this year.
